The International Alliance of Patients' Organizations is pleased to announce that the 5th Global Patients Congress: Achieving Patient-Centred Healthcare: Indicators of Progress and Success will be held at the Renaissance, London Heathrow Hotel from 17–19 of March 2012.

The 5th Global Patients Congress will examine how we measure the extent to which patient-centred healthcare is achieved around the world.  The Congress will not only highlight examples of best practice but examine how meaningful indicators can be developed to measure patient involvement within healthcare systems. Speaker update
With over 50 speakers from more than 20 countries, the programme speakers bring many years of experience, both professional and personal, that will contribute to what will be a meaningful and rewarding debate. Confirmed plenary speakers include Alison Austin, Department of Health, UK, Ilona Kickbusch, Careum Foundation, Trudie Lobban, Syncope Trust And Reflex anoxic Seizure (STARS), Ruth Nankanja, Sickle Cell Association of Uganda, Jonathan Tritter, International Centre for Governance and Public Management and John Walsh, Alpha One Foundation.
